There is nothing quite like the smell of slow-cooked taco meat and the sound of crunching chips to bring a team together. This past May 5th, the FISCHER USA breakroom was transformed into a bustling cantina for a very special reason: our Cinco de Mayo Nacho Bar Fundraiser!

The mission was simple: eat great food and raise money for Woof Gang Rescue, an incredible local organization dedicated to finding forever homes for pups in need.

A Buffet for a Better Cause

Organized by the wonderful Bella A., the event featured a spread that would make any nacho enthusiast weep with joy. From mountains of golden chips to multiple slow cookers filled with perfectly seasoned beef, the team lined up across the kitchen to build their ultimate nacho plates.

The energy in the room was electric—a perfect mix of midday camaraderie and the shared goal of supporting our furry friends.

By the Numbers: Our Impact

We knew our team was hungry, but we didn't realize just how generous they would be! Thanks to the nacho bar and a high-stakes 50/50 raffle, the numbers were staggering:

  • 50/50 Raffle Winner: A massive shoutout to Mary D., who took home $431.00!

  • Nacho Bar Donations: Our hungry crew chipped in $498.00.

  • Initial Total: $929.00

  • The FISCHER Match: $1,858.00!

That’s right! Thanks to the FISCHER USA corporate match, we were able to double our impact, bringing the final donation to $1,858.00 for Woof Gang Rescue.
