D27 + MFW-2714/20 HSK-100 Rollout

On September 12th, FISCHER USA is continuing to make technological breakthroughs as we introduce the brand new D27 milling head coupled with the MFW-2714/20 HSK-100 spindle combination. These two pieces of technology together provide maximum stability and precision for aerospace and other five-axis machining operations. The combination all together will bring perfect rotation, for both the milling head AND the spindle rotator. What makes this combination unique is the precisely calculated mono-block structures made of high-grade cast iron paired with two cross-roller bearings for the A-axis and YRT for the C-axis. What this does is provides the highest load capacity, making it capable of handling all of the cutting force angles important for power milling.

To ensure accuracy and repeatability, the unit incorporates direct optical encoders, dual motors, and dual clamps on the A-axis. FISCHER USA is also excited about how the combination will provide the highest workload capacity, with a max speed of 20,000 rpm and an S1 continuous power rating of 200 kW. While maintaining its sleek, symmetric outline, the D27 milling head still remains dynamic and robust and is intentionally designed to utilize the maximum power and torque capacity of our FISCHER USA 275mm spindles for the highest chip removal rate.
